Here in Italy, we start our kids early on the importance of Chocolate. You will always hear about how everyone grew up eating Pane e Nutella (bread and Nutella) as an after school snack. We gave Valentina her first taste of chocolate the night before she turned 1yr. Now, we make sure to give her some chocolate almost every day. Our apartment gets dusty really fast and I'm constantly sweeping. Because of this problem, Valentina doesn't get to sit and watch TV or crawl around like she should. At 10 months, I do realize that V can chew and eat quite well. When I was little I remember reading the Richard Scarry books.  I don't remember much of of the stories or characters except for the worm that drove the apple.  I think he was my favorite.  I just remember liking those books.  So, I was really happy when I saw that a Richard Scarry cartoon was on Rai Yoyo. Last year, I had 6 resolutions for 2010 and I'm happy to report and that accomplished 5 of them.  They were: 1)- Continue to slowly gain weight and have a safe & calm pregnancy. At 25 weeks (today!) Well, it finally happened!  I don't know why I was looking forward to this but I was.  Last Wednesday, Valentina had her first official FEVER! Tuesday was like any other day.  Normal. Happy. Healthy. My little monkey is 6 months old!!
